Tigers have new tactical weapon

Harimau Malaya have a tactical secret, which they will unleash against minnows Brunei in a friendly at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil today.

National coach Kim Pan Gon will try out this new approach as his team prepare for next month’s Asian Cup qualifiers,

However, the South Korean did not disclose details about it but promised a “new weapon” will be unleashed today.

“We have been trying out several tactical variations in training. Tomorrow (today), we will introduce this ‘new weapon’ to see its effectiveness. Of course, it will not be too perfect on our first try.

“It will become effective after several tries.

“We need to have different tactical approaches in the long run. It is because our rivals will keep studying our game,” said Pan Gon at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya yesterday.
